Glenn Joyner won the Roseville Legends Gold Mashie Pro-Am, one of the longest standing pro-ams in Australian golf.

""Played in perfect conditions, the par-66 layout on Sydney’s north shore is renowned to be challenging with low scores difficult to come by.

Proving its reputation right, Joyner was able to record his first victory of the year on the Ladbrokes PGA Legends Tour with rounds of 66 and 68 for a 2-over the card winning total.

“I enjoy the mental challenge of difficult golf courses and Roseville is definitely that,” said Joyner, who relied on the flat stick to get the win.

“My shortgame was the key to posting two decent scores this weekend and kept my momentum going in both rounds when I needed it most.

“Fellow Pro, Mike Zilko gave me a putting tip last week and it obviously helped as I putted really well during both rounds”.

Joyner finished one shot ahead of fellow Victorians Tim Elliot (68, 67) and Mike Harwood (67, 68) at 3-over the card.
