The third and final round of the New Zealand PGA Seniors Championship is underway today at Waitikiri Golf Club on New Zealand's South Island.

Last year’s Order of Merit Winner Tim Elliott heads into the round with a one shot lead after shooting 73 at Bottle Lake and backing up with a Level Par 71 on the tougher Waitikiri layout in strong winds.

Four players sit one shot back in second place including Victorian David Good who at 69 years of age has reclaimed his form after winning one of the lead up events at Rangiora.

Australian PGA Seniors Champion Martin Pettigrew is poised on 147 along with pre-tournament favourite Mike Harwood.

The 60 professional field is the largest to play this Championship in many years and the Waitikiri Golf Course is a worthy venue.
