Round one of the Ladbrokes Legends Tour Fiji Legends Classic saw the Senior Professionals tackle the impressive Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course layout for the Vuksich & Borich Fiji Legends Golf Classic.

Breezy conditions were once again the order of the day making scoring very difficult.

All players were very impressed with the changes that had been made since last year’s event especially the new green on the par 4 14^th.

Round of the day came from Queenslander Richard Backwell who fired an even par round of 72.

Four players sit just one shot behind on 73, Glenn Joyner, Stephen Aisbett, Brad Burns and Mark Sandri of New Zealand.

Locals Krishna Singh and Arvind Lal had 79 and 80 respectivly.

Play resumes tomorrow at Denarau for round two.
