After missing the cut at last week's NewTown King Run Open Rohan Blizard returns to action this week looking to continue his climb up the PGA TOUR China Order of Merit.
Since winning the Lanhai Open in June Blizard has struggled with his game posting just one top 10 finish in his last four starts.
However, at seventh on the Order of Merit Blizard is tantalisingly close to advancing to the Web.com Tour in 2017 and will be motivated to move up the required two spots.
Blizard is just $1,000 behind sixth placed Taewoo Kim in the standings and around $3,000 behind Max McCardle who will also be looking to hit back after missed cut last week.
There will be 21 Australians in this week's field which is one of five remaining on the schedule.
Ray Beaufils, Chris Brown, Peter Cooke, Taylor Cooper, Mitch Davis, Gavin Flint, James Gibellini, Alex Hawley, Jake Higginbottom, Scott Laycock, David Lutterus, Peter Martin, David McKenzie, Jack Munro, Daniel Nisbet, Martyn Roberts, Jake Stirling, Lincoln Tighe and Christopher Wood round out the Australian challenge.
McCardle and Blizard aside, David Lutterus and James Gibellini are the only two Australians inside the top-30 on the Order of Merit.
