Adam Scott has the golfing world’s tongues wagging; he has
been spotted practicing with a short putter.

Scott makes his first appearance of the year this week at
the World Golf Championship – Cadillac Championship.

Taking an extra long break over Christmas, Scott had plenty
of time to work on his game as he awaited the arrival of his first child, Bo
Vera.

One of the things he tinkered with was switching back to a
short putter with the 1^st January 2016 anchoring ban fast
approaching.

While the switch has everyone in the golf industry
intrigued, Scott himself is down playing the change.

"I’m probably going to putt with a shorter putter this week,"
Scott told AAP’s Ben Everill.

"It’s been feeling good. I’ve enjoyed doing it."

"It’s not that big a deal."

Before switching to a long putter in 2011, Scott won 21
tournaments with the shorter version.
