Adam Scott Appoints New Caddie


Adam Scott today confirmed the appointment of Mike Kerr as his full time caddie.

Kerr was Scott’s bag man at the recently completed Emirates Australian Open and Australian PGA Championship and was then offered the full time position.

"I’m delighted that Mike has accepted my offer and I am confident that he will be a valuable member of my team for 2015 and beyond" said Adam.

The current world number three, Adam created Australian sporting history in April 2013 by becoming the first Australian to win the Masters. On May 19th 2014 Adam ascended to the world number one ranking, a position he held for a period of 11 weeks.

Mike Kerr is a native of Zimbabwe who has been a professional caddie on both the European and US PGA Tours. Mike has caddied for Ernie Els, Lee Westwood, Miguel Angel Jimenez and most recently, Thorbjorn Olesen.

Scott parted ways with Steve Williams his previous caddy in September after a very successful partnership, the team made history when Scott became the first Australian to win the Masters.  Also in May this year Scott because the first Australian since Greg Norman to become number one in the world.
