PGA Member Centenary Celebrations Golf Day

It all began at Royal Sydney Golf Club and to celebrate the inauguration of the PGA, Professionals in each State will have the opportunity to play a PGA Member Golf Day and Awards Dinner, commencing with the first event on the 19th September at Royal Sydney Golf Club and concluding early 2012.

The prestigious Royal Golf Club in each state will play host to their State’s day, replicating the inauguration back in 1911. Serious tournament golf will be replaced with hickory shaft nearest the pins, wooden long drive competitions and good old fashioned sweepstakes in what will be a celebration amongst peers.

The events will provide PGA Members in each state with the opportunity to celebrate their Centenary amongst fellow Members by enjoying a round of golf in a social environment with the awards dinners then honouring outstanding PGA Members of the past and present.
