Welcome to the 2012 Coca-Cola QLD PGA Championship to be played at the magnificent City Golf Club in Toowoomba.
After previously staging the QLD PGA Championship in 1988 (won by Terry Price) and on the back of Gareth Paddison's 18 under par winning total in 2011, the 2012 QLD PGA Championship is once again ready to embrace the 'Garden City' as the home of this prestigous tournament.
Located within 5 minutes from the city centre and within walking distance from many of the great sites that Toowoomba has to offer, the City Golf Club boasts an impressive 18 hole golf course and magnificent club house facilities. With one of the largest and most innovative clubhouses in Australia, the City Golf Club has also recently opened it's 4.5 Star City Golf Club Motel helping the City Golf Club to offer the most complete golfing and lifestyle packages the region has to offer.
At the 2010 Clubs Queensland awards for excellence The City Golf Club won "Best Golf Club, Venue and Facilities and Environmental Best Practice Award" offering recognition for it's achievements.
The 2012 QLD PGA Championship is proud to support the Toowoomba Hospital Children's Appeal. The Toowoomba Hospital Children’s Appeal is now in its seventh year and already over $250,000 has been raised to provide special equipment for children’s health at the Toowoomba Hospital. Vital equipment is identified, such as an Intensive Care Isolette, Ivy Vital Signs Monitor and a Continuos Positive Airways Pressure Machine purchased for the special Care Nursery. The Toowoomba Hospital Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organisation that exists to promote the activities and service of the Toowoomba Hospital, Mt Lofty Heights Nursing Home and Baillie Henderson Hospital.
