Welcome to the 2011 PGA Professionals Championship WA/NT Pre-Qualifying Round

ELIGIBILITY
(All entrants must satisfy each of the following criteria in order for their entry to be accepted)
1. Must be a Full Vocational Member and/or Life Member
2. Must NOT be a member of the Tournament Division:
(This may be waived in exceptional circumstances by the Vocational Council where a member has eligibility based on Career Money, tournament wins or similar but has not been active in the Tournament Division for a minimum of one (1) year, or is a full time contracted or employed Head Professional/Director of Golf (or similar )).
3. Must be currently working full time in the golf industry:
*Full time is considered a min 30 hrs/wk. This may be across more than one facility.
*The Vocational Council shall determine an individual member’s eligibility should there be any doubt as to their eligibility under this clause.
4. Must have worked at the facility or place of employment for a minimum of 12 months, or in the case of less than 12 months, have worked at a previous facility/ies or place of employment for a minimum of 12 months in total (excluding time worked as a trainee professional):

Tee Time: 8.00am Rolling Tee Start
Format:18 Hole Stroke Event
Par: 72
Ties: In the event of a tie for the final qualifying position, those who tie will play off on a “sudden-death” basis after the qualifying round is complete. Should the Committee be required to rank alternates other than through a play off, rankings will be decided by the matching of cards. Cards will be matched using the following system:
If the tying players have the same total score for holes 10-18, determine the rank on the basis of the total score for holes 13-18, holes 16-18 and finally hole 18. If the above procedure does not break the tie, rankings will be decided by lot.
Additional Conditions:
1. Winner of the WA/NT Pre-Qualifying Round at Nedlands Golf Club will receive an invitation into the 2011 WA/NT PGA Championship at The Vines Resort & Country Club.
2. Light Lunch & Drinks will follow the round.
