The 2010 Australian PGA Senior Championship will be stage at Killara Golf Club, Sydney from the 11th - 13th November.
Fiducian Portfolio Services have been secured as the naming right sponsor.
The event to be staged over 54-holes and will carry prizemoney totalling $100,000.
Players should be aware of the PGA Tournament Regulations in relation to National Championship Events.
Professionals are NOT permitted to use motorised golf carts during the tournament week including official practice rounds unless granted permission by the Championship Committee. Applications must be made to the Championship Committee, attention Melville Proud, Executive Officer, NSW/ACT Division, PO Box 1416 North Sydney NSW 2059 by the 21 October, 2010. All applications must be supported by a medical certificate.
Professionals are NOT permitted to wear shorts/socks during the tournament week including official practice rounds.
Tournament Details
Eligibility
A maximum of 90 Professionals will be ranked in accordance with the Seniors Tournaments Exemption Categories outlined in the current edition of the PGA Membership Regulations Handbook.
Format
174 (90 Professionals and 84 Amateurs) competitors will play one round on each of the first two days. Following 36-holes the leading 60 professionals and any professional tying for 60th position and a maximum of 10 Amateurs and ties will qualify for the 3rd and final round, with the remainder being eliminated. A seeded draw will apply for the final round.
Registration
All competitors in the Championship must register at Killara Golf Club either between 12.00pm and 5.00pm on Monday 8 November and 11.00am and 3.00pm Tuesday 9 November. Any competitor failing to register within these times may be eliminated from the Championship. The Championship Committee reserves the right to waive this condition in special individual circumstances.

Tuesday 9 November - Official Practice Day

Wednesday 10 November - Official Practice Day
A limited number of tee-times (one per group of four) will be made available in the Members competition up until 9:50am. Professionals will have access to the course for practice from 10:00am with the last time for tee-off from the 1st Tee scheduled for 1:00pm. Thursday 11 November - 1st Round
Groups of 4 include 2 Professional and 2 Amateurs.
Friday 12 November - 2nd Round
Groups of 4 include 2 Professional and 2 Amateurs.
Saturday 13 November - 3rd Round
Groups of 3 (The leading 60 professionals and any professional tying for 60th position and a maximum of 10 Amateurs and ties will qualify for the 3rd and final round, with the remainder being eliminated).
