Richie Caracella was the pace setter in the morning with a 5 under 67. He was left to rue his double bogey on the par 5 16th however with Leighton Lyle producing a fine 65 in the afternoon that interestingly enough included a eagle on the same hole that brought Richie undone. The Murray Downs Golf & Country Club was again in great shape and didn’t disappoint.
