Penfold Motors Box Hill Pro-Am

After winning two straight Victorian Pro-Am of the year awards, Box Hill have put on another amazing tournament and are going to be hard to stop for this year’s award. The standard of the golf over the two day’s matched the event, with David Bransdon setting a new course record 63 on day one. That record would only last 24 hours though with Chris Gaunt shooting an incredible 61 to go with his first round 69 for a two round total 130 (10 under) and a three shot win over Euan Walters (68 & 65) and local professional Lucian Tinkler (69 & 64). Large galleries of Box Hill members & interested guests soaked up a great day of golf and then an exciting shoot out from 152 meters for a $50,000 car for the first Hole in One or $1,000 for the NTP. The shoot out was proudly sponsored by Allens Real Estate. Brad Lamb just missed the car but took home the $1,000.
