Bunbury Golf Club boasts a fully reticulated 18 hole golf course situated in the tranquil setting between the Collie River and the Leschenault Estuary. It is a well wooded course with undulating greens. Established at Clifton Park in 1948, the Club has been one of continual improvement and the course is now considered to rate among the top 10 in Western Australia and the top 100 courses in Australia.

Bunbury Golf Club provides members with excellent facilities which complement the high standard golf course. Over the years the Club has hosted numerous prestigious events with top Australian and overseas players participating.

The second of two State Championship events to be held back to back in WA, the Laurance Scrap Metals WA PGA Championship is the second event on the end of year PGA Tour of Australasia schedule and will offer a prize purse of $AUD110,000.

The long standing event which dates back to 1933 boasts past champions including Graham Marsh, Kel Nagle, Terry Gale, Peter Senior, Greg Chalmers and three time winner local talent Kim Felton. Most recently WA based Michael Long won the event in 2008 when it was on the Von Nida Tour schedule and ultimately took out Order of Merit honours.
