One of the newest tournaments on the PGA Tour of Australasia schedule, the South Pacific Golf Open Championship will be played from September 26 – 29, 2012 at Tina Golf Club in Noumea.
This will be the second year for the Tournament on the Tour of Australasia after it began as a successful pro am on the New South Wales circuit.
The limited field four-round South Pacific Golf Open Championship will see a minimum of 75 Professionals head to Noumea in September where they will play for $120,000 with $18,000 going to the eventual Champion.
The Champion will also gain a spot in the Tour’s biggest events including the Perth International, Emirates Australian Open, PGA Championship presented by Coca-Cola, BMW NZ Open and the Australian Masters.
The tournament will feature an innovative pro-am style format for the first two rounds with Professionals set to play alongside local amateurs.
