The second annual "Coca-Cola" Invitational Series started on Friday 5th March with the first State Qualifying event held at the Royal Adelaide Golf Club, South Australia.

Fourteen clubs were represented on the day by the PGA Professional and Club Representative, and while the 4BBB teams competition lends to a relaxed day there was no shortage of competitive spirits with a spot at the National Final at stake.
It was the newly appointed Club Professional from The Vines of Reynella Golf Club, Steven Krause, who set the pace for the day shooting a single score of 5 under par in contributing to his team’s score of 47points. Krause, who has recently relocated from Victoria to take up the Head Professional role at The Vines of Reynella, was joined by the Club Manager, Paul Sutcliffe to take honours for the day and secure the first position in Queensland.
The second flight to QLD was won by the Barossa Valley Golf Club with Professional Ian Devlin and Club Manager Damien Geyer who recorded of score of 44points.
The "Coca-Cola" Invitational Series continues this Friday with the first of two State events being held at Pacific Harbour Golf Club in QLD. The State Qualifying events are held through out March and April, with the National Final being held from 30th -31st May at the Hyatt Regency Coolum, Queensland.
