Keen golfers again have the opportunity to support the rising stars of professional golf by becoming a caddy at the Nationwide Tour Moonah Classic from February 4 to 7.

All you need is a passion for golf and be available for the four days of competition.

Caddies receive a small payment for their time.

But more importantly they get to build a relationship with a player who is on track to competing alongside the world’s best on the PGA Tour.

Moonah Classic tournament director Roseanne Goddard said the positions will appeal to those who live near Moonah Links on the Mornington Peninsula.

“Most of the American players come on their own, so they really like the idea of having a local helping them caddy,” she said.

“But there are also some Australian professionals as well.

“It’s a great opportunity to get an insight into professional golf and get to know a player who just might go on to be the next big thing.”

I have previous experience as a Board Carrier and wish to apply for a position at the Moonah Classic. Also willing to caddy - although no experience but a very keen golfer. A fit 60 year old. Cheers Harry.

Get in quick! Heard this being talked about on 3AW, and apparently calls are flooding in. Great opportunity if you're in the area.
