I reckon that Fred Couples will play Tiger in all the matches & Greg Norman will play the Aussies in all matches

Thanks Freddie for picking Tiger. We love to watch him play.

Tiger Woods does not deserve to be on the US team. There are a lot more deserving players that Fred Couples should have picked before Mr. Woods. Woods hasn't done anything in over two years. There better younger plays that played their hearts out this year, that should have been picked. Mr. Couples made a bad choice.

Not sure that picking tiger is the smartest move for the U.S team or for himself or Melbourne.. We all know what happen last time he was in Melbourne. Why not go with a player who has had a great year K Bradley

Norman will pick Badds and Allenby hands down. They are both from down that way and have played Royal melbourne than the rest of the lot!! watch the shark show his patriotism!!

Hey Brendan, Kim is a gun! He can play i've seen it!

Fred Couples already declared he was going to pick Tiger so he's in. It's a lock. Move on. As for the inters, all 4 of the aussies not already in the team grew up on the sandbelt and surely at least one of them gets a run. Badds and Ogilvy would be my picks, both great putters which is essential for matchplay.

Bugger the Aussies! What about the qualifying criteria? Kim has had 2 top tens in the USA and one top ten in Europe ,ever.Ishikawa has one top ten in USA. Asian events should not count. Before any liberal leftist attacks me,it is not about race Choi and Yang deserve their place and thoroughly . Oustersheisenhausen is a weak link also, found a week of extraordinary form that just happened to be a major.A Rich Beem,Shaun Micheel week. Vijay singh is a relic of lost presidents cup and despite a little resurgence-out he goes. I would much rather see Sabbatini and Badds make the side.Asian events should not count towards points unless they are co sanctioned with one of the two main tours.

Allenby has great knowledge of Royal Melbourne and would compete very well for the Internationals. Although Els is out of form, he plays well around Royla Melbourne and brings a lot of big match experience for the team. Vijay will find a way into the team.

Bugger the Aussies, if there not in the top 10 players standings they shouldn't be in the side, the internationals need the strongest team, not a side who might play well cause they know the courses.

I reckon Badds should get a run, not a fan of his but well suits to the sandbelt - he will putt the dots off it around there. Not sure who's spot he should take tho, maybe one of the other aussies needs to sneak into the 10. Els, Goosen and Oosthuizen all hopelessly out of form. Then again the shark is a fan of Ishikawa so might not make any difference. Interesting few weeks coming up.

After the WGC and the PGA, if Tiger gets a captains pick it will be a very big slap in the face of many inform players that deserve consideration. He was 17 strokes behind in the no-cut WGC and missed the cut badly in the PGA. He has no form and doesn't deserve consideration.

C'mon Freddy, pick Keegan Bradley, put someone in with real enthusiasm for the game!

Going by the US rankings I imagine Tiger's hoping pretty hard for a Captain's pick!

Stating the obvious .... Ogilvy and Allenby better get a move on. Got ticket for the whole event ... would like to see a few more Aussies in .. especially ones who know the course!
