A three-under-par 68 was good enough for Indian Gaganjeet Bhullar to hold a two-shot lead after the second round of the Venetian Macau Open on Friday, with Australia's Kieran Pratt just three shots off the pace.
Bhullar had made a blistering start to the Asian Tour competition on Thursday, carding an eight-under 63 to hold the overnight lead at the Macau Golf and Country Club.
The chasing pack kept pace on day two, with Thai duo Prom Meesawat (68) and Thitiphun Chuayprakong (66) tied for second at nine under.
After recording a three-under second round of 68, Pratt is one of five players sharing fourth place at eight-under overall.
He is level with Brazilian Adilson da Silva (66), Mohammad Siddikur (68) of Bangladesh, Filipino Angelo Que (66) and Thailand's Thongchai Jaidee (68).
Of the other Australians in the field, Scott Hend is tied ninth at seven under, with Adam Blyth a shot further back in a share of 12th spot.
Unho Park, Scott Barr and Tim Stewart form part of a six-way tie for 15th at five under.
