Nitties falls short

American Chris Wilson birdied the first playoff hole to defeat compatriot Scott Harrington at the Web.com Tour's Price Cutter Charity Championship after Australian James Nitties fell away.
Wilson two-putted from 12 feet to win at the Highland Springs Country Club having tied with Harrington at 21 under.
Nitties finished four shots off the pace after a modest two-under 70 to close with 17-under par.
Nitties birdied the fifth and sixth hole to storm into contention with the leaders but fell away with two bogeys thereafter.
He was one shot ahead of compatriot Aron Price, who shot an equal best round of seven under to move up the order significantly.
Other Aussies to finish down the order were Bronson La'Cassie (13 under), Scott Gardiner (12 under), Alistair Presnell (nine under), Nick Flanagan (seven under) and Andrew Buckle (six under).
