Paul Fenton 200

Second year PGA Trainee Paul Fenton has finished at the head of the field at the Hillview Pro-Am in Western Australia.

Fenton posted his winning score of four under par 68 in the morning field and had to wait all day to see if his score would hold up.

With a quality afternoon field, inlcuding Jarred Moseley, James Carr and Victorian Ben Wharton who has been in winning form, it was going to be a nervouse wait for Fenton.

With perfect conditions for golf the afternoon players were not able to match Fentons score of four under.

Chris Gray and Andrew Gott returned the best scores of the afternoon, 3 under par 69's, to share in a tie for second with Justin Nikoloch who also played in the morning field.

“I played really well todaday and it is certainly very pleasing to come away with the win, the course is in fantastic condition” said Fenton.

The Hillview Pro-Am was proudly sponsored by the Bendigo Community Bank of Forrestfield & High Wycombe.

The Hillview Golf Course was presented in fantastic condition, and with 27 holes on offer it is a must visit for golfers in Perth.

The next event on the Wa Pro-Am schedule is the Yanchep Golf Estate Sun City Pro-Am at Sun City Country Club.
