Matthew Zions

While most of Australia will be busy cheering on the nine strong contingent at The Olympic Club spare a thought for Matthew Zions, who will defend his only European Tour title in France this week.

Zions, who tried but failed to qualify for the year's second major, will tee up at the Saint-Omer Open in France where he won by seven shots last year.

Zions, who described the win as life changing, is the main subject of the European Tour website's preview of the event which can be seen here.
