Weekly Wrap: Oh so close for Scott

Here is this week’s results for the Australian contingent.
Adam Scott carded the best result for the Aussies, finishing third at the AT&T National in Maryland on the weekend.
Scott started the final round tied 56th but carding four birdies saw him end the day five under 67.
Fellow Aussies in the field Jason Day (tied 8th), Greg Chalmers (tied 17th), Rod Pampling (tied 22nd), and Marc Leishman (tied 32nd) all displayed great golf.
Robert Allenby and Nick O’Hern missed the cut.
Matthew Zions played Australia’s best golf on the European Tour this week at the Irish Open.
Zions was the only Australian to make the cut, finishing nine under tied 18th.
Brett Rumford, Andrew Dodt and Richard Green all missed the cut.
Meanwhile, Greg Norman made an appearance on the Champions Tour’s Constellation Senior Player Championship in Pennsylvania on the weekend.
Norman started the tournament off with an impressive 67 in his first round but finished one over tied 58th.
Peter Senior tied 38th.
The Aussie senior team played great golf this week on the European Seniors Tour, with Peter Fowler leading the way, finishing second at the Berenberg Bank Masters in Germany.
Fowler carded a final round 12 under 69 but finished three shots behind American Tim Thelen.
Graham Banister (tied 8th), Rodger Davis and Mike Harwood both (tied 20th), David Merriman (tied 29th), Tim Elliott (tied 47th) and Noel Ratcliffe (tied 55th) were the other Aussies in the field.
