Michael Phelps has dominated the Olympic headlines thanks to his remarkable performances in the pool, but he has been telling anyone who would listen this week that now he has retired, golf will be his main focus. Phelps, who became the most successful Olympian in history in London, is close friends with Bubba Watson and is expected to become a regular fixture at pro-am and celebrity tournaments around the US. "I want to play all the great (golf) courses," Phelps told Rick Reilly in May this year. “My coach gave me a poster with the 100 greatest courses in the world on it, and every time I play one, I put a little pin in it."

While he says there are no pins in the poster yet, he intends to change that over the next couple of years.
