About the course…
“It's very similar to a lot of the courses that I've played over here in Australia. A lot of fairway mown areas around the greens, run offs, bunkering is very similar. There’s a little bit of room to play off the tee. I think they give you some strategy as far as finding angles and hole locations. The green complexes are pretty difficult. They’ve got a lot of slope, a lot of different little humps and bumps on the greens, a lot of greens seem to slope from back to front.”

“I think the challenge this week will be kind of knowing where hole locations are and developing a strategy depending on wind conditions and where you can get in the fairway to be able to attack.”

About Australia…
“I enjoy coming over here and just kind of broadening my golfing perspective a little bit. I enjoy coming over here and playing as much as I can. I'd like to do it a little bit more, but it's hard to come over here for seven, eight weeks and go back.”

About Ryder Cup…
“I've been thinking about what could I have done better, where could I have maybe picked up another half point, how could I have helped my teammates more, my captains more. It's been a tough couple weeks since The Ryder Cup for myself, and the toughest thing about it is you've got to wait two years again until you can play again. That's a long time for us.”

About being in Perth…
“I was fortunate enough yesterday to get a bird's eye view of how Perth looks. It's fantastic. We came over the golf course. It looked so flat out of the air, and then obviously we played today. It's a lot harder than what it looks from the top.”

“But we had so much fun yesterday. It's my first time to Perth. I've played Melbourne and Sydney. My first tournament actually out of South Africa was the Jack Newton, I think I was 14 years old or something. It's nice to finally come to Perth. I've heard so many good things about it. I played nine holes on the golf course, and it looks good.”

On his form…
“You have your up and downs, and I haven't been playing that badly. I've just been finishing 30th and 20th and 40th most of the time. I've just not been finishing or I've been playing sort of three rounds good and then one round very average or bad. I’m just not putting four consistent, good rounds together.”

When asked why he dashed the hopes of Australians, beating Ogilvy, Scott and Day at the 2011 Masters.
“I didn't think it was cruel (laughing).”

“It was such a tight finish. It was always going to come down to someone that made a race to the end there at the last few holes. There were ten guys that could have won it. I was the fortunate one to make all of those birdies coming in.”
