Mueck blitzes field in WA

Victorian Kris Mueck has won the Nexus Risk Services South West Open held at Bunbury Golf Club in stunning style.
Mueck fired rounds of 69, 69, and a final round lowest score 66 to finish on 12-under 204 to finish four shots clear of young Royal Perth amateur Brady Watt.
“I played very consistently throughout the tournament and hit some really great shots coming down the stretch today” said Mueck.
In a tie for second amongst the Professionals were West Australian Kim Felton with rounds of 72, 70, 67 and Victorian Terry Pilkadaris with rounds of 68, 69, 72 both finishing five shots from Mueck at 7-under 209.
South Australian Paul Spargo fired a new course record with an opening round 9-under 63, but was unable to hold form and finished in a tie for 12th.
The WA circuit now heads to Geraldton for the McDonalds Wholesalers Spalding Park Open starting on Friday the 8th of June.
