Members battle for Pro Champs spots

The Greg Norman designed Stonecutters Ridge course in western Sydney has had its first taste of Professional golf and proved a handful for the field at last week's NSW qualifier for the PGA Professionals Championship.
Dunheved Golf Club's Andrew Crumpton was the only player to break par on the layout with a one under 71 while David Fearns and Cromer's Nicholas Robb tied second at even par.
With 18 spots up for grabs it was a tough day for the field, a play-off required to decide the last three qualifiers after a breezy day made scoring difficult.
Sam Howe, Nathan King and Greg Hohnen squeezed into the field while Mitchell Pryor became first alternate.
Jake Nagle, grandson of the legendary Kel, qualified in T9 position.
There are two qualifiers left before the field for the Championship is finalised, North Queensland hosting their event on October 15 and Tasmania on October 22.
The Championship will be played in a pro-am format this year at the stunning Hamilton Island Golf Club from November 12-16.
