For those female golfers out there, however, keep your eye out for a Women’s Holden Scramble for your chance to compete against other women under the Ambrose elimination format.

Following its introduction as a separate section of the Holden Scramble in 2005, the Women’s Holden Scramble now moves into its 6th year, with over 10,000 women having been involved so far and clubs around the country continuing to enjoy the social atmosphere of Holden Scramble golf.

With around 50 clubs hosting a Women’s Holden Scramble in 2009, there are plenty of teams once again ready to tee it up. And while at any event there is a competitive side the main focus of the scramble is fun, enjoyment and to have a few laughs along the way.

To further entice the ladies to get involved in the Women’s Holden Scramble there will be special prizes on offer at all women’s events run this season. Callaway have made a further commitment to women’s golf and to the Women’s Holden Scramble by releasing a women’s only prize pack featuring Callaway Stand Bags for first prize.

Another new initiative to the Women’s Holden Scramble this year will be the introduction of the new Holden Scramble website featuring a Women’s Holden Scramble section dedicated to keeping everyone informed of the latest results and information on the Women’s Holden Scramble. So stay tuned for more exciting advancements in the Women’s Holden Scramble for 2010!
